SGC ATTENDING NSGE JAPAN

We’re thrilled to announce that SGC will attend and present at the 6th edition of the Asia Pacific Meeting on Near Surface Geoscience and Engineering (NSGE), with the theme “Smart Technologies Kind to the Planet.” The meeting will be held in Tsukuba, Japan, from 13 to 15 May 2024, incorporating the 15th SEGJ International Symposium.

Our Project Geophysicist, Alejandro Sanchez, will present “A Comparison between TDEM Modelling Approaches for Near Surface Characterisation” on Monday’s program. He would like to acknowledge his co-authors, Takeshi Sato and Remke van Dam from SGC, Paul Hedley and Matthew Lawrence from Rio Tinto.

Joining Alejandro at the conference is our Principal Geophysicist – Development, Takeshi Sato. They both look forward to exploring the latest technological advancements to investigate our planet Earth and beyond. From mineral resources to infrastructure development, transition from conventional to renewable energy resources, and understanding the changing environment of human habitat, this conference promises to be an enriching experience.
