Recent Drilling success at Sultan Resources Tucklan project

Southern Geoscience Consultants would like to congratulate Sultan Resources (ASX: SLZ) on recent drilling success at their Tucklan project located in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW. TRC0001 has intersected a broad zone of silver mineralisation – 88m @ 4.1g/t Ag from 200m, including: 8m @ 15.5 g/t Ag from 218m, and 2m @ 45.6 g/t Ag from 284m DH.

Only one hole, TRC0001, pierced the IP chargeability bullseye target, confirming that silver mineralisation is coincident with a strong IP chargeability high and that IP is mapping a sliver dominated hydrothermal system which remains open to the east. Mineralisation is associated with multi-phase quartz-carbonate-sulphide veining, sericite-chlorite-carbonate alteration and disseminated sulphide mineralisation. Future work programs including extension IP surveying, and air-core drilling of new Ag-Au targets are being considered.

SGC looks forward to assisting Sultan with further geophysical exploration efforts at Tucklan, plus other developing projects – Ringaroo, Big Hill / Razorback.
