Southern Geoscience Consultants are very pleased to report that our client Azure Minerals Limited (ASX: AZS) has intersected a significant new zone of nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation at their Andover Nickel-Copper Project. ANDD0004 intersected a 38.1m-wide interval containing multiple zones of nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation from a downhole depth of 336.1m, including 4.05m from 354.80m of massive NiCuS and 6.10m from 347.50m of blebby to matrix NiCuS.
ANDD0004 was designed to test a strong and laterally extensive conductor (VC7) identified by recent fixed loop electromagnetic (FLTEM) surveying performed by the SGC niche acquisition EM crew. The VC7 conductor extends for approximately 1050m EW and at least 150-200m vertically and remains unconstrained both at depth and down-dip to the north. DHTEM surveying is underway and will further delineate the extents of this well-developed sulphide system and aid ongoing drill targeting/vectoring.
SGC Consultant Geophysicist Russell Mortimer is managing the ongoing DHTEM/geophysical targeting efforts.
