Southern Geoscience Consultants would like to again congratulate Legend Mining Ltd (ASX: LEG) with their ongoing success at Mawson with the discovery of significant nickel-copper sulphides in step out diamond drilling. RKDD023 has intersected nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation over a broad interval of >90m, including 12.95m of massive sulphide, 7.55m of semi-massive and multiple zones of net-textured, matrix and heavy disseminated sulphide between 216.45m and 310.4m DH.
RKDD023 was designed to test a strong 25,000-30,000S off hole DHTEM conductor delineated from diamond drill hole RKDD021. Accurate DHTEM vectoring was made possible by utilising optimised, multiple transmit loops combined with high power levels and very low base frequency to accurately constrain modelling/drill targeting.
