Michael graduated from Curtin University in 2013 with a BSc degree (Geophysics) before joining GEM Geophysics as a field assistant. Very quickly he became a crew leader where he was involved in all aspects of EM surveys, including a FLTEM and underground DHTEM survey in Vietnam.

End of 2016 he went on a working holiday to Canada where he lived in Banff before returning to Australia in 2017 and went straight back into fieldwork.  He began working at SGC in July 2018 where he has been using his experience to assist the niche acquisition team.  His role also includes QC and processing of a variety of data.

Michael was appointed as Field Services Manager in 2021.
