Greg Maude

Director / Principal Geophysicist

Greg Maude graduated from Curtin University of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science (Multidisciplinary Science). From late 1998 to 2003, he worked as a field technician and crew leader for geophysical contracting groups Scintrex, Tesla-10 and Fugro, performing ground IP, gravity, magnetic and electromagnetic surveys throughout Australia and overseas.

In late 2003, Greg became an independent contractor specialising in surface TEM data acquisition for clients in Australia and abroad. This involved training, supervising and managing geophysical crews and operations in some very remote locations under challenging circumstances.

With a solid basis in data acquisition, Greg joined SGC in October 2008 with a view to increasing his knowledge of more technical aspects of exploration geophysics. Greg is now a Principal Geophysicist whose roles include designing, processing, modelling and interpretation of ground and airborne geophysical data with occasional field trips to supervise and train field crews.
