Esmaeil holds a PhD from CODES/School of Earth Sciences/University of Tasmania Esmaeil has over 10 years’ of experience in both academia and industry, including geophysical field operator, data processor, research scientist, consulting geophysicist, and senior geophysicist in diverse locations such as Australia, Canada, and Iran.

Throughout his career, Esmaeil has had the privilege of working with a range of geophysical datasets, encompassing magnetic, gravity, induced polarisation, electromagnetic, remote sensing) for a series of different deposit types from the pole to the equator in five continents.
