Alejandro Sanchez-Mora

Project Geophysicist

Alejandro commenced work with SGC in 2022 as a Geophysicist. Alejandro graduated from Curtin University with an MSc. Geophysics and graduated from Olmeca University (Mexico) with a BSc. In Geophysical Engineering with high distinction. He has 6 years of experience in seismic, resistivity and electromagnetic methods for oil and gas and mining geophysics. His main area of expertise is in modelling, data integration, inversion, and interpretation of geophysical data.

Since joining the Near Surface team at SGC, Alejandro has been involved in survey design, data acquisition, data processing, modelling, and inversion of resistivity, passive seismic, and Loupe TDEM methods. Alejandro is passionate about building and interpreting 3D geophysical models of the subsurface, to provide efficient solutions to meet the client’s needs.

Alejandro is an active member of ASEG.
