SULTAN RESOURCES BROAD ZONES OF VEINING AND SULPHIDE MINERALISATION AT TUCKLAN PROJECT NSW

Southern Geoscience Consultants are pleased to be working with Sultan Resources (ASX: SLZ) on their Tucklan project located in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt, NSW.

The initial phase of the maiden RC/Diamond drill programme at Tucklan has been completed, testing priority IP target anomalies beneath strong gold/copper soil geochemistry. Logging of the drill chips and core has been very encouraging and revealed broad zones of hydrothermally altered volcaniclastics that contain multiple generations of veining and sulphide mineralisation in some holes. In particular, hole TRC0001, which tested a strong IP chargeability target, intersected a 136m DH zone of moderate to intense, multi-generational vein sets and associated disseminated, stringer and vein-hosted sulphide mineralisation. The style of veining, sulphides and alteration is not interpreted to be typical of an epithermal gold system and could represent a similar style of mineralisation to the McPhillamy’s Gold Deposit located in a similar geological setting ~130km to the south.

SGC looks forward to assisting Sultan with further geophysical exploration efforts at Tucklan, plus other developing projects – Ringaroo, Big Hill / Razorback.
