Southern Geoscience Consultants would like to congratulate Legend Mining Ltd (ASX: LEG) on their continued success at the Mawson with the discovery of additional massive nickel-copper sulphides in step out drilling. RKDD013 has intersected nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation over an interval of 13.5m, including 12m of massive sulphide from 239.2m DH and a further 1.5m from 257.5m DH.

RKDD013 was designed to test a strong 50,000-60,000S DHTEM conductor identified in RKDD010 and also test for extensions to the sulphide mineralisation intersected in drillhole RKDD008. Accurate DHTEM vectoring was made possible by utilising optimised/separated Figure 8 pattern loops to suppress both conductive cover and stratigraphic conductor interference.

SGC Consultant Geophysicist Russell Mortimer is managing the ongoing DHTEM efforts, regional MLTEM programme efforts and R&D components.
