MAJOR UNDERGROUND DRILLING PROGRAM UNDERWAY AT “GOLDEN MILE”

Southern Geoscience Consultants are pleased to be working with Mincor Resources NL (ASX:MCR) on their upcoming major underground drilling and DHEM project at Kambalda – referred to as the “Golden Mile”. The program will comprise sequential “fans” of underground diamond drill holes which, in conjunction with down-hole electromagnetics (DHEM), will systematically test this zone for significant new zones of nickel sulphide mineralisation.

In an excellent start to this program for FY22, the second diamond hole has yielded an exciting massive sulphide intersection which demonstrates the typical high-grade tenor associated with the Kambalda Dome mines of Long and Otter Juan.

A permanent wire for DHEM will be delivered to site during August 2021, meaning that an active survey program can be efficiently completed. In general, DHEM will be conducted on every second hole to assist with targeting for the drilling program as it progresses sequentially across the “Golden Mile”.

SGC Consultant Geophysicist Russell Mortimer will manage the upcoming DHTEM survey programme.
