Southern Geoscience Consultants are pleased to be working with Helix Resources Limited (ASX:HLX) on their Cobar VTEM programme. Only 20% of Helix’s estimated 120km of prospective copper trends was previously covered by EM; the entire 120km comprising three distinct trends is now covered.
Preliminary review of raw VTEM data is encouraging for finding new mineralised positions; highlighting targets proximal to existing copper mineral resources and new targets along three prospective copper trends.
Modern airborne EM surveys have played an instrumental role in Cobar VMS discoveries, most recently Aeris – Constellation VMS/Cu discovery 2020.
