Brendan Ray

Brendan graduated from Curtin University at the end of 2016 after a 4 year undergraduate degree in Applied Geology and Geophysics. Following this, he decided to further his studies by enrolling for honours in Geophysics, in which he has been undertaking since the start of 2017. His honours research has brought him down the path of aquifer monitoring, dealing with airborne electromagnetic data acquired over the north Perth Basin and how it can be used to identify saline intrusion, as well as detailed lithological variation in the subsurface.

He joined SGC as a student in May 2017, and has been gaining experience in data processing, quality control, modelling and interpretation of numerous airborne, ground, and downhole datasets.
