Case in point, a recently completed towed TEM survey that didn’t just produce incredible data (more on that in a future post) but also was super-efficient, thanks to efforts by many. This year we’ve been out in the field quite a lot, but here we acquired an average of 85+ km/day for 2+ weeks straight, which pushed our total well past 2,000 line km acquired!
This amazing number would not have been achieved without the brilliant, creative, and resourceful contributions from our field crews, geophysicists, and support staff, better known as the Southern Geoscience tTEAM.
Also, what more is there to say about tTEM, a great geophysical tool for a wide range of applications*? For one, this system, built by TEMcompany in Denmark, is easy to crate up and ship around the country, and the world if needed!
*Examples of scopes we’ve conducted: fault / clay / seepage mapping, paleo channel & geotechnical surveys, mineral & groundwater exploration in near-mine, in-mine, greenfield, coastal, and agriculture settings.
