Southern Geoscience Senior Principal Geophysicist Matthew Hutchens is preparing for an exciting week in Adelaide! He will attend the Geological Survey of South Australia Discovery Day 2024, themed “𝙏𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙤, 𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡”. This year, the focus will be on new developments in fundamental geoscience that will underpin future exploration, investment, and land-use planning decisions. The program will showcase a diverse range of new information on the geology and commodity potential of South Australia.
On the final day, Matthew will be at the 21st South Australian Exploration & Mining Conference (SAEMC). This event brings together South Australia’s active mineral explorers and mining industries.
