Southern Geoscience Consultants wish GreenTech Metals Limited (ASX : GRE) every success with their upcoming drill testing of the large DHTEM conductor defined at Austin which is situated immediately down dip/down plunge of the historic Whundo open pit Cu mineralisation.
The target potentially represents a large deeper repeat/extension of the Whundo mineralisation and is centred within the broader Austin FLTEM anomaly which links the shallower Whundo Cu-Zn deposits to deeper mineralisation at Shelby. This large target conductor has high conductance (~6000 to >10000S) and has not been previously drill tested, representing a high priority for testing with a target depth of ~200-250m. The modelled areal size of the conductor which has a northerly dip of ~20 -30deg is considered significant with a 200m plus strike and down plunge extent of at least 40-60m.
Greentech is currently preparing for a follow-up drill program at Whundo to test the Austin target.
SGC Consultant Geophysicist Russell Mortimer is managing the upcoming DHTEM/further geophysical targeting efforts.
