MASSIVE SULPHIDES AT EMPIRE RESOURCES SMITHS WELL PROSPECT

Southern Geoscience Consultants would like to congratulate Empire Resources Limited (ASX:ERL) on the recent drilling success at their wholly owned Smiths Well Cu-Ni-Co Prospect where 30 m of massive to disseminated sulphide mineralisation has been intersected by the recent YDD22-02 diamond hole. The new intersection has significantly increased the strike of the mineralised horizon with planned drilling aiming to further test the strike extension. We all keenly wait on assay results now.

YDD22-02 targeted a strong conductor identified by a DHEM survey conducted by SGC for Empire Resources in January 2022. The new drillhole targeted near the centre of the model plate, which has extensive strike of 159 m and high conductance of 20,000 S. The geophysical model matches the geological model well, coinciding with a prospective ultramafic unit within the mafic-ultramafic package.

SGC Principal Geophysicist Matthew Hutchens assisted the program with DHEM planning/modelling/interpretation/drill targeting and looks forward to providing ongoing support of exploration efforts including further DHEM at Smiths Well.
