Rafaella Resources identifies new high priority anomalies

Southern Geoscience Consultants are excited to be supporting Rafaella Resources Limited (ASX:RFR) with their Midrim-Laforce Ni-Cu-PGE project located in the highly prospective Belleterre-Angliers Greenstone Belt – Quebec, Canada.

Midrim VTEM Max surveying has identified 1 strong, discrete new anomaly and 3 clusters of previously unknown moderate strength anomalies. Of key interest is the newly identified discrete, late time bedrock conductor within a recognised Ni/Cu/PGE region.

Groundfloor EM (GFEM) was also incorporated into this programme, a methodology that utilizes an airborne EM transmitter with a set of surface-based receivers. The larger transmitter-receiver separation in GFEM over standard airborne techniques yields the ability to compute the step-response with sufficient accuracy to study extremely high conductivity targets that are commonly encountered in NiCuS exploration.

SGC will now commence a detailed analysis of the survey data and assist with further follow-up ground geophysical surveys / drill targeting.
